The “Mechanic Designer Okawara Kunio Exhibition”, focusing on the works of Japan's first mechanical designer and key Gundam creator Kunio Okawara, has opened at the Sagawa Art Museum in Moriyama, Shiga.
On display are not just anime production materials, but also industrial design, illustrations for local governments, and more. With several first-time-in-Japan works on display, this is a great way to take in Okawara's oeuvre!
The exhibition is being held at the Sagawa Art Museum’s scenic campus on the shores of Lake Biwa. Mr. Okawara himself was present for a special panel and autograph session on opening day. Here’s a photo report of what's waiting there for you!
