“Gundam docks at Taiwan”, the largest ever Gundam event in Taiwan, began at Uni-Ustyle Taipei on October 7th (Sat).
During the event period, Uni-Ustyle will become the largest Gundam Base outside of Japan with the large 1/3 size statues of “Gundam” and “Char’s Zaku” appearing for the first time on the 2nd floor of Dream Plaza. Gunpla from several successive Gundam series are being displayed on the 3rd floor while a 2m-sized Gundam Build Fighters’ series statue photo corner has been installed on the 4th floor.
Furthermore, Mr. Kunio Okawara’s illustrative Gundam works as well as key frame designs drawn for this event are also currently on display at Tsutaya Bookstore located on the 5th floor.
On the event’s first day, October 7th (Sat), an opening ceremony as well as a Mr. Okawara autograph session was held. Many fans came rushing for the events and it was a huge success. Without further ado, let’s quickly go into a photo report of the venue.

▲ During the opening ceremonies, Mr. Kunio Okawara, Bandai Namco Holdings President Mr. Mitsuaki Taguchi, and Sunrise Board Director Mr. Shin Sasaki appeared on stage!
▲ The tape was cut as the large statues were unveiled! Cheers erupted from the many fans that crowded the venue!
▲ Despite it being before sales even began, there was a long line for entry!
▲ Many local media came to cover the event.
▲ Mr. Okawara’s autograph session was hosted for a limited amount of 50 people! Passionate fans gathered for an autograph!

▲ There are, of course, Gunpla exhibitions and sales, as well as an array of event-limited product sales, apparel goods, figures, and games!
