A see-through exhibition for the 30th anniversary of the MAX FACTORY Foundation, “OMEDETO MAX exhibition”, is held in Tokyo’s AkibaCO Gallery starting from November 10th (February).
MAX FACTORY started in 1987 with as a garage kit maker, and welcomed 2017 with its 30th anniversary after extensive planning and manufacturing of bishōjo figurines and alloy toys. The professional modellist and representative of the company, MAX Watanabe, created many of their designs.
In this exhibition, there are many famous figures from the past and also brand new designs, with a large amount of commemorative items on sale too. Taste some of MAX FACTORY’s history, spanning thirty years, and check the exhibition out!
It lasts until November 19th, free entrance.

▲At the entrance, you’ll be welcomed with MAX Watanabe’s message, introucing “PLAMAX MAX Watanabe Original Paint Exhibition” with examples of his plastic models, overflowing with originality.
▲Besides the parade of congratulatory messages on coloured paper by these wonderful members, a corner with autographs and the factory’s chronology are on display too.
▲In the exhibition corner there is an overflow of figures and models, all lined up.
▲So many hard to see items were gathered in one building, from the models that gave fans everywhere a huge impact to event-only items!
