Orders for a second, May 2014 shipment of the "MG 1/100 RX-78-1 Prototype Gundam" are now open on Premium Bandai. Each kit is priced at ¥4,536.
The Prototype Gundam, most popular of the early-'80s MSV boom, returns after 31 years in 1/100 scale as the "MG RX-78-1 Prototype Gundam".
This returning-to-roots build adapts the Prototype Gundam's detail and colors to the MG Ver. 2.0, with the unpainted detail only MG can provide. From to the rounded forearms to the side armor with sliding holsters, the slitted ankle guards to the uncowled backpack, all of its distinctive design points are recreated. The kit also includes its beam rifle and a Core Fighter for separate display.
