More "Gundam Docks at Hong Kong II" details! Light and video shows, and exclusive Gunpla announced!

Details on the "Gundam Docks at Hong Kong II" event, a monthlong celebration of Gunpla's 35th anniversary scheduled for this August in Hong Kong Times Square, have arrived!

Along with 1/3 scale statues of the Unicorn Gundam and Wing Gundam Zero EW, this event will also host the first overseas "Hajime Katoki Ver.Ka Archive" exhibition of art by longtime Gundam mechanical designer Hajime Katoki.
Five separate types of exclusive Gunpla will be on sale, and Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn's director Kazuhiro Furuhashi and star Koki Uchiyama are expected to appear.


■ A nightly light and video show at the Unicorn Gundam!

The 1/3-scale Unicorn Gundam, standing nearly 7.5m (25 feet) tall and constructed of fiberglass armor over a metal frame, is built in Destroy Mode.
The glow of its active Psycoframe will light up Times Square's open plaza every 30 minutes from 6:00 to 10:00 nightly. A four-minute video will also play on the new HD screen.


■ A 3m Zaku Head! And Katoki's archives!

A gigantic Zaku head, complete with illuminated monoeye, will be mounted atop Times Square's iconic clock tower.
Next to the tower, the "Hajime Katoki Ver.Ka Archive" will showcase Katoki's art and model works, along with illustrations and a 2m-high statue of a Unicorn Gundam specially redesigned for this event.
Other Gunpla will also stand in 2m height at the Gundam Build Fighters Try display, ready to be photographed!


■ A gigantic Wing Zero EW soars through the skies! Plus, get photos with the Nu Gundam!

A brand-new 1/3-scale, 9.8m (32-foot) Wing Gundam Zero (EW) will be suspended midair in the second-floor atrium, surrounded by four dioramas created by fans.
There's also a life-sized Char Aznable in pilot suit, and 1/1 scale both Sazabi and Nu Gundam recreated in 3d paint. Take a photo standing in Nu Gundam's manipulator!
A special mobile app will be available for the event, guiding attendees and featuring a digital stamp rally for special gifts. Don't forget to install the app before you arrive!

■ Five Gundam buses circulate through Hong Kong!
Through August 31st, buses with full-chassis decals based on suits like the Unicorn Gundam and Char's Zaku II will circulate through lines connecting Hong Kong Island and the Kowloon Peninsula. If you're lucky, you can ride a mobile suit on lines 101, 112, 116, 118, or 290!
