“Gunpla EXPO in CHOFU”, an event where you can experience the fun in building Gunpla even more personally, will be held this week from November 22nd (Wed) at Chofu PARCO in Tokyo. Admission is free.
The event features various Gunpla and dioramas that will open displays in multiple locations in the building. A special exhibit for the GUNPLA EVOLUTION PROJECT, which began for Gunpla’s 40th anniversary, the latest products that will release from November onwards, and a special exhibit corner featuring production materials of Mobile Suit Gundam 00, which had its 10th anniversary since its debut broadcast this year, are scheduled to be installed.
From the Gunpla Builders’ World Cup (GBWC) will be a display of builds from the GBWC2016 Japan champion and past Japan champions. The works from “Gunpla Supporters”, Gunpla that are produced and colored by celebrities such as artists and TV personalities, will also make an appearance.
Furthermore, the event will have a variety of contents such as the “Gunpla Assembly Experience Meeting”, where you can bring home the “1/144 RX-78-2 Gundam Assembly Experience Meeting Ver.” model that you build onsite, limited-edition Gunpla starting from “RG SINANJU [CLEAR COLOR]”, which will be available for advance sale at this event, and more.
