The reappearance of Gundam VR “Daiba Assault!” VR ZONE SHINJUKU, the country’s largest VR facility, scheduled to open July 14th!

VR ZONE SHINJUKU, what will be the country’s largest VR facility developed by Bandai Namco Entertainment, was announced to open on July 14th (Fri). Reservations for admission began on June 16th (Fri)
VR ZONE SHINJUKU is a facility sized at 1,100 tsubo (approx. 3,500m2) and will be the country’s largest VR entertainment facility. Activities like “the thrill of flying through the sky with a human-powered aircraft” or “the fear of being hunted by a dinosaur” will stimulate your five senses to its limits. There will be 16 fascinating types of activities where you can realistically experience the worlds of series such as Gundam through the VR “Daiba Assault,” Dragon Ball, and Evangelion
Additionally, projection mappings such as “TOKYO Gundam Project 2014 Gundam Projection Mapping G-Party35”Rise!”,” conducted on the Gundam Statue in Odaiba in 2014, the Tokyo Station 3D projection mapping “TOKYO HIKARI” managed by a creative company under the label “NAKED,” and a projection of Pac-Man will be conducted on the outer wall of the facility. A light production that uses illumination and projection mapping will also be conducted in the center of the facility where an enormous tree called the “Center Tree” towers over the area. There will also be areas to purchase original merchandise and foods so customers can enjoy the entertainment space in its entirety.

Bandai Namco Entertainment will open VR ZONE Portal, a store where you can experience VR activities, countrywide in collaboration with NAMCO. The company plans to expand its stores overseas and will open over 20 stores outside of Japan during the present term.
