Report on the VR ZONE SHINJUKU New Activity experience: “Gundam Unicorn VR Clash - Diver Sky”

Bandai Namco Entertainment presents a new activity, held in the best VR zone in all of Japan, the “VR ZONE SHINJUKU”: “Gundam Unicorn VR Clash – Diver Sky” has been successfully open to the public.

This time, the Gundam Info editorial section was able to experience the new activity, let’s see the report!

▲The new “Gundam Unicorn VR Clash – Diver Sky” appears next to the “Gundam VR Diver Assault”, on the second floor of the VR ZONE SHINJUKU. The players not only can try the “Clash – Diver Sky”, but can continue their session with the “Diver Assault”! Choose your experience!

▲There is a new photo spot. Players can take pictures while holding the Unicorn Gundam’s hand! Take a picture and share it online!

The new activity follows the basic flow of the “Gundam VR Diver Assault”. Inside the VR space, the gradual reveal of the standing Unicorn Gundam in real size begins, and as soon as the player gets a view of it all they are suddenly struck by a beam rifle. Then, the players will try to escape the attack by finding shelter in the Unicorn Gundam’s hand, which had already begun to move.

In the “Diver Assault”, the up-down motion showed the Gundam’s standing up, but this time the Unicorn Gundam will climb in the Odaiba’s sky, up to 120 meters. Thanks to the realistic floating feeling, your feet might freeze up!

After looking at the night landscape, the player will encounter the fast approach of the “Red comet’s return”, Sinanju, spurring full frontal. A high speed battle will ensue, while the pilots voices begin to blend together.

Many who saw the activity commented on how the “Mobile Suit Gundam UC” was packed with many situations that got them instinctively excited. From the begging to the end, be sure to look out for all the details!

The “Gundam Unicorn VR Clash – Diver Sky” is currently open to the public in the Tokyo – Shinjuku “VR ZONE SHINJUKU”. Also, until October 11th, there will be a limited installation called “Mobile Suit Gundam – The bonds of the battlefield VR PROTOTYPE Ver.”. For more information, click here.
