The Company-Managed “TAMASHII NATIONS TOKYO” Opens 5/2019! New Projects & 10 New Large Product Announcements!

TAMASHII NATION 2017, an event that is a culmination of TAMASHII NATIONS’ 10 years as a brand established in 2008 to bring together collectors’ products for adults, will be held at Akihabara UDX and Bellesalle Akihabara in Tokyo from tomorrow, December 1^st (Fri), until the 3^rd (Sun).

“3 New Projects” and “Open the Future – 10 New Large Products” for the brand’s 11^th year and onwards were also announced to accompany the hosting of the event. Domestic sales have tripled since the time of its establishment and the brand, which continues to have high growth even overseas, aims to expand both its sales and the countries the brand is available in in the future.

■ The Foundation for the Brand’s 11^th Year and Onwards: 3 New Projects Begin!

Project 1: Company-Managed “TAMASHII NATIONS TOKYO” Set to Open May 2019!

“TAMASHII NATIONS TOKYO”, TAMASHII NATIONS’ first company-managed store, will open in May 2019 in Akihabara, Tokyo.
The store, composed of three floors in the newly constructed “HULIC & New AKIHABARA” building from the first floor basement to the second floor, is scheduled to, of course, have product exhibits as well as the sales of both limited and original products.
The store aims to be a flagship store that will gather everything from the brand and share TAMASHII NATIONS information from Akihabara, an area that has become the sacred land of Japanese culture that is currently capturing attention from around the world, to people around the world. The “TAMASHII NATIONS AKIBA SHOWROOM”, currently open inside the JR Akihabara Station East-West Hall, will be renovated in March 2018 and will also begin selling merchandise.

Project 2: Mileage Member System “CLUB TAMASHII MEMBERS” Opens!

“CLUB TAMASHII MEMBERS”, a member system that will heavily work together with the company-managed “TAMASHII NATIONS TOKYO”, will be newly established.
CLUB TAMASHII MEMBERS will earn miles through purchases from the Tamashii Web Shop on Premium Bandai or at “TAMASHII NATION TOKYO”, participating in various events and campaigns either in or out of the country, and answering questionnaires. Your status will then increase depending on your miles. Every status is scheduled to offer various services. Advance entry will begin on December 1^st (Fri) and is scheduled to be accepted through simplified entry at “TAMASHII NATION 2017” or the “AKIBA SHOWROOM” as well as online.

Project 3: Establishment of a Logo That is Proof of Your Trust in TAMASHII NATIONS!

TAMASHII NATIONS, who have placed their spirits into manufacturing products for 10 years since its establishment, has developed as a brand that is now not only loved by Japan, but also by people from around the world. Products from this brand undergo planning, development, and supervision in Japan, are always aiming to improve quality, and continue to manufacture products that can become the treasures of fans.
We present a new logo as a symbol of those feelings and aim to make it be evident of that universal trust.

■ Open the Future – The Introduction of 10 New Large Products!

Ten topic products, which include new conceptualized model products that combine concepts such as “shining”, “sound producing”, and “big sizes”, were announced.

“v Gundam” from the new brand “Kaitai Shouki” was introduced from the Mobile Suit Gundam series.
“Kaitai Shouki” is a newly conceptualized robot series that consists of concept models that dig deep into the charms of mobile suits while pursuing a realism that cannot be depicted in the anime, impressive sizes, and newly produced molds and internal frameworks that have been refined.

Furthermore, the latest release from the super popular “METAL BUILD” series is “Strike Gundam” from Mobile Suit Gundam SEED. We have been informed that both Mr. Kunio Okawara and Mr. Satoshi Shigeta will participate in this project, so definitely be sure to look forward to future developments.
※ These 10 new products are presentations of their concepts. Excluding a portion of the products, names, prices, and release dates have yet to be decided.

“TAMASHII NATION 2017” will be held from tomorrow, December 1^st (Fri), at Akihabara UDX and Bellesalle Akihabara.
A “Deluxe Creator-Drawn mini Autograph Board” will be distributed as an attendee bonus at Akihabara UDX. Products that commemorate the hosting of the event will also be sold.
