Shukan Gundam Perfect File Feature #2!
The official magazine all about all of Gundam! This time, we announce the 'My Best Scene' #1 illustration!
The first 'My Best Scene' poll concluded on October 3rd. The winning scene was from Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack, with Amuro pushing back Axis with the famous line 'ν Gundam isn't just for show!'
The winning scene will get a brand-new illustration, which will be given to one of the voters!
Last time we showed you how a normal illustration was made; this time, we'll follow this winner.

■ Scene selection
The winning scene was from Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack, with Amuro pushing back Axis.
It beat out all the others to be the most exciting scene in Gundam!
■ A sketch, and then the rough draft!
First, a draft based off a screenshot. The artist certainly has a tall order: Keep the composition of the original while expressing his own originality.
But for an experienced illustrator, it's a chance to make something even better.
From there, work progresses smoothly. We can't wait to show you the finished piece!
