Thunderbolt Included! The Sale & Exhibition of MACH55GO’s “THE MACH55GO WORKS 55x20” to be Held!

The release of THE MACH55GO WORKS 55x20, a publication collecting the works of Mr. Toshiaki Uesugi of MACH55GO, who has done the designs for anime, movies, and music, from Katsuhiro Otomo series to series such as COWBOY BEBOP and Mobile Suit Gundam Thunderbolt, has been decided. An exhibition will also be held in Shibuya, Tokyo.
The publication THE MACH55GO WORKS 55x20 will introduce artworks from those designed by MACH55GO and will also include the process leading to the finished product. This is a must-have item for anime fans and designers. The book will be printed in B5 size and will be 176 pages of full color. It is scheduled to be released on October 11th (Wed) by PIE International and is priced at 3,400 yen (tax excluded).

■ Exhibition to be Held! Advance Sales and Talk Shows!
The exhibition “THE MACH55GO WORKS 55x20: 20 Year Exhibition of the World of Anime, Music, and Books Designed by MACH55GO” will be held from September 23rd (Sat, public holiday) to October 1st (Sun) at Gallery X BY PARCO in Shibuya, Tokyo.
In celebration of the 20th anniversary since the establishment of the LLC, the design works of MACH55GO will be exhibited all at once at the venue. It will be an exhibition of the works of MACH55GO, from videos to music, that they have continued to be deeply involved in with a focus in anime graphic designs as well as works for Mr. Takkyu Ishino and the Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra. It will also introduce the processes of these designs leading to their finished products.
Advanced sales will be conducted for the publication of THE MACH55GO WORKS 55x20. Talk shows featuring Mr. Shinichiro Watanabe, Mr. Katsuhiro Otomo, and others as guests will also be held. For more details, please check out the official Gallery X BY PARCO website.
