Gundam Build Fighters airtime and main cast revealed! Tune in every Monday at 6 PM beginning October 7th!

Details on the premiere and cast of the newest Gundam TV series, Gundam Build Fighters, have been announced!

Gundam Build Fighters will air beginning at 6:00 PM, October 8th on TV Tokyo and five affiliates, along with BS11 and AT-X.
The main cast is composed of Mikako Komatsu (playing Sei Iori), Sachi Kokuryu (Reiji), Yui Ishikawa (China Kousaka), and Takuya Sato (Tatsuya Yuki).

Along with these new casting details, new characters Mao Yasaka, Ricardo Ferrini, Rinko Iori, and Takeshi Iori have also been announced.

[New Characters]

Mao Yasaka A Kyoto native and Gunpla builder. His Gunpla talents, honed from a young age, make him a favorite for the next championship. Don't let his appearance or Kyoto accent fool you: Mao is ready for battle. He's Sei's friendly rival.	Ricardo Ferrini An Italian bruiser with a record of championship appearances. He's also known as the "Italian Dandy". His global tour leads him to Japan, where he has a fateful encounter with Reiji. His favorite hobby is picking up women using Gunpla... And he's successful four times out of five.
Rinko Iori Sei's mother, who has effectively taken over management of the Iori model shop. However, she's unfamiliar with model kits, and often calls on her son Sei for help. She's an excellent cook, and her signature dish is veggie stir fry.	Takeshi Iori Sei's father, a famous Gundam fighter and runner-up in the second world championships. He voyages the world, sending advancements in Gunpla back home to his wife and son at the Iori model shop.

Gundam Build Fighters will invade the main stage at Chara-Hobby 2013, to be held at Makuhari Messe this August 31st and September 1st.

Along with the latest trailer, we'll have Sachi Kokuryu (Reiji), Yui Ishikawa (China), and Takuya Sato (Yuki) on stage for a talk show.
