Bandai (President and Representative Director Masaru Kawaguch1i, headquartered in Taito City, Tokyo) has announced that the newest Gundam television show, Gundam Build Fighters Try: Island Wars (airing August 21st at 4:00 PM on TV Tokyo affiliates,) will be joined by the release of a HGBF 1/144 Scramble Gundam (¥2,376 with tax) slated for September 10th. In addition, Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans Season 2 (starting 5:00 PM October 2nd on 28 MBS and TBS affiliates nationwide) will be preceded by the new HG Gundam Barbatos Lupus (¥1,080) on October 1st. Further releases of Gunpla, Gundam-branded plastic model kits, to support each series are also planned.

Gundam Build Fighters Try: Island Wars is a new series continuing where Gundam Build Fighters Try, which aired from October 2014 through April 2015, left off. Gundam Build Fighters Try Summer Vacation Special: You Can Be A Build Fighter Too!, airing in August, lets you get hyped up with a TV special featuring incredible clashes between amazing builds! The special will be simulcast worldwide, so don’t miss it!

Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans Season 2 continues from the first season, which aired between October 2015 and March 2016. Boys clinging to life in a war-torn, unstable world of shifting alliances and unstable politics. Realistic human drama will combine with intense mecha battles for another season. New characters and mobile suits will also appear. The new season will be simulcast worldwide, so don’t miss it!

■ Gunpla Expo World Tour Japan 2016 Summer

A special Build Fighters display to celebrate the broadcast of the Gundam Build Fighters Try Summer Vacation Special will be at Gunpla Expo this August 11th through 14th as it visits Ikebukuro Sunshine City.

A space decorated as if flooded with Plavsky particles will show off new releases and more from the world of Gundam Build Fighters. Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans Season 2 items can also be seen.

And of course, Mobile Suit Gundam The Origin and Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn RE:0096 will be there as well. If that’s not enough, you can also thee the newest Gunpla Supporters entries by celebs and a history of Japan’s entries in the Gunpla World Cup!
