The newest Gundam items and plenty of events are at C3 Tokyo 2016, 8/27 and 8/28 at Makuhari Messe!

One of Japan's biggest character and hobby events, C3 Tokyo 2016, will be held at Makuhari Messe in Chiba this August 27th and 28th.

Attendees can see official exhibitions, unveils, exhibits, exclusive and advance merch, along with a legally-licensed enthusiast market on the 28th. There are also guest appearance, attractions for the whole family, and more.
Here’s a list of what you’ll be able to see!


■ Bandai’s booth is packed with Gundam! Get a free card!

Bandai’s booth will be packed with the latest Gundam merchandise, including event-exclusive items for sale.

See the newest Gunpla and pick up some exclusives! Gunpla Classroom in C3 Tokyo will walk you through building a special RX-78-2 Gundam.
The Tamashii Nations corner will have NXEdge Style, original SD Gundam, Robot Spirits, and more robot figures.
Plus, there’s gashapon machines, a Gundam Cafe popup kiosk, and Iron-Blooded Orphans fashion goods including mirrors, pouches, scrunchies, and shirts!

The card game Gundam Cross War will be on display, with two Gundam Conquest crossover promo cards being handed out, as well as a promo Gundam Barbatos Lupus for the digital card game Gundam TryAge. The Gundam Barbatos Lupus will be unlocked in IBO set 6, and features the key visual; you can also use it on the IBO set 6 machines set to free play! Get a free card, and then try it out!

■ Other companies have Gundam displays too

Bandai Visual’s booth is the place for the latest anime info and trailers from Gundam and more. Megahouse features figures and hobby items from Iron-Blooded Orphans and more. Sun-Star Stationery will have their Iron-Blooded Orphans stationery there before anywhere else.

Cospa has character apparell and merchandise like their Full Frontal eye mask. Sankyo will have a history of Gundam pachinko plus a photo spot for selfies with characters. Rhythm will have a special advance availability of the official Gundam watch.

Hobby Japan’s exhibition will include builds from the magazine. There will also be print displays from Airi Furukawa’s Gunpla column, with an exclusive T-shirt for sale and autograph sessions planned.

Kadokawa’s booth will have all 170 covers from 15 years of Gundam Ace on display, alongside 41 celebratory autographed shikishi. The Dengeki Hobby Web area will have builds from Gundam Hobby Life 009 and Dengeki Gunpla Academy winners. Niconama and YouTube streams from the event are also planned.
