“Gunpla EXPO World Tour Japan 2016 WINTER,” the largest Gunpla festival hosted by the Bandai Hobby Operations Department, was held from November 19th (Sat) to the 23rd (Wed, public holiday) at Akiba Square in Akihabara UDX.
Many displays were set up at the event so visitors could enjoy the world of Mobile Suit Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans. This included a very impressive video that was displayed on a LED monitor in celebration of the “1/100 FULL MECHANICS GUNDAM BARBATOS LUPUS” going on sale.
Additionally, the latest Gunpla from the HG, MG, and RG categories from series such as Mobile Suit Gundam THE ORIGIN, Mobile Suit Gundam Thunderbolt, and Gundam Build Fighters were also on display and sold in large numbers.
Furthermore, also on display was “Gunpla Supporters 2016 WINTER,” the ever popular original coloring project by celebrities, and the creations of the Japanese tournament finalist of “Gunpla Builders World Cup 2016.” There were a variety of different things to see and each day was a huge success.
