Let’s Experience the Charms of Gundam! “Gundam World 2017 in NESTA RESORT KOBE” Now Open!

“Gundam World 2017 in NESTA RESORT KOBE,” an event where one can experience the world of the Gundam series with three-dimensional displays and videos, is currently a popular event being held at the large complex resort NESTA RESORT KOBE in Hyogo. Admission fee for junior high school students and older is 1,000 yen, 500 yen for elementary school students, and free for pre-school children.

Life-size head models of “RX-78-2 Gundam” and “Char’s Zaku” as well as a life-size “RX-78-2 Gundam” cockpit are on display at the event. Photos can be taken at all displays and attendees are able to actually sit inside the cockpit. Weapons belonging to suits such as Gundam and Zaku will be presented in approximately ½ scale size. You can actually hold the weapons in your hands to take photos.
Furthermore, a 1/10 scaled statue display of Gundam Barbatos from Mobile Suit Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans as well as 1/10 scaled statues of the four suits piloted by the Gundam Meisters – “Gundam Exia,” “Gundam Dynames,” “Gundam Kyrios,” and “Gundam Virtue” – from Mobile Suit Gundam 00, which is celebrating its 10^th anniversary since its broadcast this year, are on display. Attendees can enjoy impressive three-dimensional displays that can only be found in Gundam World.

Displays such as those that will explain the evolution of Gunpla throughout its 37 years, a 1/144 size “Operation Odessa Diorama” created with an arrangement of over 100 Gunpla, nostalgic out-of-print products, an introduction to the “SD Gundam” series, and a three-choice video quiz called “Challenge! Gundam Quiz” are at the event.
Furthermore, event-limited Gunpla and all kinds of event limited products that can only be bought at the event will be sold during the event dates.
