The series presentation of Gundam Build Divers, the latest TV anime in the Gundam series to be broadcasted on the TV Tokyo Network from spring 2018, was held on February 2nd (Fri) at the Gunpla center “GUNDAM BASE TOKYO” in Odaiba, Tokyo.
The title of the series, its scheduled broadcast, world setting, as well as the characters and mechas that will appear in the series were introduced at this presentation. The lineup of several products including Gunpla that are scheduled to be released were also announced.
Without further ado, let’s take a look at the series presentation filled with enthusiasm from the crowds of reporters and affiliated parties at the event with a photo report.

▲ First, Mr. Tao, Bandai’s Chief Gundam Officer, announced the Gundam Build Drivers title as “a new series that will join the Gundam series ahead of Gundam’s 40th anniversary in 2019.”
▲ He spoke about Gunpla and revealed his anecdote of when he built GUNTANK together with his father when he was a child. He also enthusiastically expressed his desire to enjoy Gunpla together with his younger brother in the future.
