Open To The Public On 2/10 & 11! The “Japan Amusement Expo 2018” Business Day Event Report

The “Japan Amusement Expo 2018”, the country’s largest amusement and entertainment trade exhibition, will be open to the general public at Makuhari Messe in Chiba on February 10th (Sat) and 11th (Sun).

Various genres of the latest machines such as video games familiar to arcade centers, simulation games, prize games, photo sticker booths, and medal games are being exhibited by the dozens at the venue. Anyone can experience playing the latest arcade games for free at the event.
Additionally, a variety of contents are scheduled such as live games and the game tournament festival “Tokaigi 2018” which will be held jointly with the expo.

■ The MAXI BOOST ON Exhibit at the Bandai Namco Entertainment Booth!

The currently popular Mobile Suit Gundam Extreme Vs. MAXI BOOST ON is featured with special specifications at the Bandai Namco Entertainment. You can play as “Build Strike Gundam (Full Package)”, which will be the next suit to join the battle, ahead of its release. A “Gundam VS. Link” original tin badge will be presented to those that play.

An Extreme Vs. MAXI BOOST ON special stage will be held on February 10th (Sat) at 4:00pm and is scheduled to be joined by a special guest at the booth stage. The stage event is scheduled to be livestreamed through niconico’s live broadcast, so definitely please check out the livestream if you’re unable to go to the event on the day itself.

■ Pay Attention To The Square Enix Booth!

Trial gameplays of Starwing Paradox, Square Enix’s latest arcade title for which Sunrise is responsible for the world setting and animation production, are being held at their booth. A step-up guide will be presented to those that play the trial.

This work is a project that has gathered top staffs such as Sunrise’s Mr. Naohiro Ogata (Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn, etc.) as producer, Mr. Yoshiyuki Sadamoto (Neon Genesis Evangelion, etc.) as character designer, as well as Mr. Ippei Gyobu (Mobile Suit Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans, etc.) and Mr. Junya Ishigaki (Gundam Build Fighters, etc.) as mechanical designers. The “Japan Amusement Expo 2018” will be open to the general public on February 10th (Sat) and 11th (Sun). The admission fees for advance 2-day tickets are 2,500 yen (tax included), advance 1-day ticket 1,500 yen (tax included), same day 1-day ticket 2,000 yen (tax included), and free for elementary school students and younger.
