Get ready for III with series classics at a new low price!
To prepare for the PS3 and PS Vita launch of
Super Robot Wars Z III:
Jigoku-hen, three previous
SRWZ titles release on PS2 Archives and PSP the Best beginning 2/19!
The Game Archives service, which brings you your favorite PlayStation hits from years past, adds Super Robot Wars Z, the 2008 PS2 rebirth of SRW with better art and combat animations than ever.
Nine series, including Overman King Gainer, Genesis of Aquarion, and Eureka Seven, made their debuts in this cast of 22. The new "Tri-Battle System" allowed players to freely form squadrons of up to three rather than be limited by costs.
Super Robot Wars Z can now be purchased from the "Game Archives" category of the PlayStation Store for ¥1,500.
* PS2 Game Archives available for PlayStation 3 only.
The next titles in the Super Robot Wars Z series, Super Robot Wars Z II: Hakai-hen (2011) and Saisei-hen (2012), will be reissued as PSP the Best titles on February 20th.
New hits join longtime requests in one of SRW's largest casts ever.
SRWZ's high-end graphics remain intact on the small screen, with mecha, character, and mission counts among the highest in the series. Titles like Gundam 00 and Code Geass fit perfectly into the two-part split format.
The PSP the Best versions of Super Robot Wars Z II: Hakai-hen and Saisei-hen will each retail for ¥2,800.
Digital versions will also be available.
The newest Super Robot Wars Z game, Super Robot Wars Z III: Jigoku-hen, releases this April 10th for PS3 and PS Vita.
Now's your perfect chance to catch up on the Z series!
