Gundam Online adds the new "Taklamakan Desert: Shifting Sands" battlefield and more in its new update!

Bandai Namco Online's Mobile Suit Gundam Online for Windows adds the new battlefield "Taklamakan Desert: Shifting Sands" on June 17th.
EX Gashacon Vol. 13 has also been added, alongside a New Recruit Support event.


■ Battle Areas go live! The new battlefield "Taklamakan Desert: Shifting Sands" is added!
The new battlefield "Taklamakan Desert: Shifting Sands" has been added to the game.
Based on the 18th episode of Mobile Suit Gundam, it adds new "Battle Areas" to the existing Taklamakan Desert map.

As allied pilots enter specified Battle Areas, the enemy force's power gauge will begin to decrease. Maintain a presence in these areas to whittle down enemy strength, and receive bonuses to your personal score.

■ Play to unlock new suits! "EX Gashacon Vol. 13" available now!

Try out the 13th EX Gashacon, spinnable only with play rewards, for the Federation's "Later GM (Assault)" and Zeon's "Zaku Half Cannon"!
Plans and request forms for the Federation's "Guncannon" and "MS-06-F2 Zaku II (Torrington)", and Zeon's "Gyan" and "MS-06-F2 Zaku II (KImberlite)" are also available.

EX Gashacon tickets can be earned throughthe July 1st maintenance, and used through the July 8th maintenance.

▲ [Federation] Later GM (Assault) [Type: Assault / Cost: 280 / Terrain: Land, Space]
A modified GM manufactured at Luna Two during the One Year War. Used primarily for colony air defense. Its weapons loadout is specialized for front-line melee combat.

▲ [Zeon] Zaku Half Cannon [Type: Heavy / Cost: 300 / Terrain: Land]
This Zaku Cannon variant's back bristles with kinetic weaponry including a large Gatling gun for fire support roles. Its hip-mounted "Big Gun" further contributes to its effectiveness on Earth.

▲ The "Zaku II (Kimberlite)" and "Zaku II (Torrington)" are versatile Assault types with a well-rounded range of weaponry, and the "Gyan" is a speedy close-up Assault-type fighter with needle missiles that allow for a continued attack even with shield raised. The "Guncannon" is an Artillery type which provides support from the rear and crushes enemy lines with mortar and howitzer fire. Each one is a powerful suit that'll be an asset on the battlefield!

Raise your rank to Warrant Officer, and you'll be rewarded with request forms for already-upgraded rentals and Silver plans for suits you can customize yourself! Plus, until you reach the rank of Major, battlefield GP rewards will be tripled. The event lasts through maintenance on July 15th!
