Held at Akihabara UDX & Bellesalle Akihabara! The “TAMASHII NATION 2017” Photo Report

“TAMASHII NATIONS 2017”, a figure festival held by the Bandai Collectors’ Department, was held over a course of three days from December 1^st (Fri) in Akihabara, Tokyo.

The event was held in Akihabara UDX and Bellesalle Akihabara in commemoration of the TAMASHII NATIONS brand’s 10^th anniversary this year. Akihabara UDX was themed “A Future One Step Ahead” and held exhibitions that focused on products scheduled to be developed in the future. Bellesalle Akihabara was themed “History” and Now” and held an exhibition of products that retrace the brand’s 10-year history. The event was a huge success.
Furthermore, an opening ceremony was also held in commemoration of the 10^th anniversary with Ms. Rio Uchida and Mr. Tetsuya Iwanaga as guests. The ceremony added a touch of grace to this memorable 10th anniversary event.

Ms. Rio Uchida, actress and fashion model, and Mr. Tetsuya Iwanaga, also an actor and fashion model, appeared as guests during the opening ceremony held at Akihabara UDX.
Important announcements concerning future developments of TAMASHII NATIONS as well as the unveiling of the 10 new large products that will clear the path for the future occurred during the ceremony, which greatly livened up the 10^th anniversary event.

■ CONTEMPORARY ZONE (Bellesalle Akihabara 1F/B1F)

A history exhibit retracing the creation of the brand to what it is today was held at Bellesalle Akihabara. Approximately 200 legendary and key products, chosen from 4,000 products that have been sold by the brand until now, were exhibited alongside product labels.

▲ Congratulatory comments from various celebrities were found in the “Messages Composed in 100 Days ~To the 10^th Anniversary~” corner!

▲ On the Deluxe Creator-Drawn mini Autograph Boards, the attendee bonus, an illustration of 00 QAN[T] was drawn by Mr. Kanetake Ebikawa!

▲ “real type color” by Mr. yukihiro, the drummer of L’Arc-en-Ciel, and “Daryl’s Gundam” by voice actor Mr. Ryohei Kimura were on display at the “TAMASHII NATIONS as Portrayed by Celebrities” corner!
