"Gundam Unicorn" vol. 7 tops the Blu-ray and DVD charts for a second straight week!
The second-ever anime release to achieve sales dominance like this, and the first in nearly four years!
For the second week in a row, Bandai Visual's Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn Blu-ray and DVD volume 7 have climbed to the top of weekly sales rankings.
June 23rd rankings, covering sales from 6/9–6/15, show a two-week reign in both formats only achieved once before by an anime title: the August 2010 release of the One Piece Strong World 10th Anniversary Limited Edition.
DVD sales were approximately 7,000 units, with Blu-ray limited edition sales approximately 9,000. This brings the total sales of the limited-edition Blu-ray to 109,000.
