10 years of anime theme song history with the Animelo 10th Anniversary Combined Ranking!
"Akatsuki no Kuruma" and other SEED songs make the list!
Dwango Mobile's "Animelo" anime entertainment site celebrates its 10th anniversary this August with features including the "Animelo 10th Anniversary Combined Ranking" of data from all its sites!
Across Animelo Mix, Animelo★Uta, Cho! Animelo, Cho! Animelo Full Plus, Animelo Mix♪Call, Animelo Lyrics, and animelo mix (iOS/Android), the #1 download is the free movie of cosMo@Shiwasu P's "Hatsune Miku no Shoshitsu". A mix of hits new and old, including #2 "Theme of Lupin the Third '78" and #3, the Neon Genesis Evangelion opening "Cruel Angel's Thesis", rounds out a top 10 chart showing a decade's worth of downloads.
The Mobile Suit Gundam SEED insert theme "Akatsuki no Kuruma" represents Gundam at #8. Performed by FictionJunction Yuuka, this hit track was rereleased with the original vocals and new backing as part of the "Reunion" series last September, and then as a reissue of the original version this May.

Gundam SEED contributed several other tracks to the ranking, including T.M.Revolution's "Ignited" at #14, Kira Yamato's (Soichiro Hoshi) "Ima, Kono Shunkan ga Subete" at #26, and Nami Tamaki's "Reason" at #28.
Other Gundam themes in the top 100 include Ko Ikeda's "Tobe! Gundam" (first Gundam), Chihiro Yokekura's "Arashi no Naka de Kagayaite" (08th MS Team), TWO-MIX's "Just Communication" (Wing), ROmantic Mode's "Dreams" (X), and the Mobile Fighter G Gundam BGM "Waga Kokoro Meikyo Shisui ~ Saredo Kono Kobushi wa Rekka no Gotoku".
